3D Character design exploration based on my illustration.
In this project, I wanted to capture the 2D illustration look onto a 3D model.
To achieve that I created a low-poly base mesh of the character in Blender. Did some UV unwrapping magic and used TexTools addon to bake different texture output to create a paint base for texture. Then in 2D painting software (Krita) painted the rest of the shading and details into a single texture.
